I am in a normal relationship with an exceptional bloke. Like any couple we fight over big things and little things.

Lately we’ve been fighting a little more than usual and over tiny little things that shouldn’t be an issue but some how are.

Depending who is the one that is upset, the one who isn’t usually want to just roll over, go to sleep and deal with it the morning. The other gets more upset and wants to resolve things instead of going to bed angry.

What’s worse is we’re both ridiculously stubborn and it takes hours of silence before one of us finally caves and opens the floodgates. This means late night, lots of tears and then after it all, the relisation that what we fought about really wasn’t worth all that.

We’ve come out of it on the good side, can see where our issues are and I’m sure like lots of couples it can be attributed to housework or other petty things.

Do you go to bed angry?

My boyf & I are the same. It is just so silly, but it’s bound to happen when you spend so much time together! I think communication and a little bit of ‘you time’ is the key to freshening things up!

I can always use more ‘me time’! :)

Honestly I don’t think everything has to be sorted out before bed, sometimes going to bed and sleeping on it makes you realise it really isn’t a big deal and doesn’t need to be discussed and analysed.
