Apparently there is something called the 6 month itch in relationships, when it start to go red and contain pus, get along to see your Doctor. Or in relationship terms, dump the bastard.

I’ve never experienced the 6 month itch before, but can understand that by this point you would be in some sort of routine and everything would feel very mundane and boring. The honeymoon period is probably over, well for some.

I’m going to take this opportunity to brag and say my honeymoon period definitely ISN’T over – jealous?

We are that annoying couple you see on the street making out, hands clasped to each other. We can’t sit at a dinner table without someone’s hand being on someone’s body parts. Whenever we get some spare time we resemble that of rabbits.

Ok bragging done.

But if you’re not in that honeymoon period anymore, maybe at 6 months it’s the perfect time to shake things up and keep him (or her) guessing.

Romance

This more applies to the fella that’s reading this. Romance is a MASSIVE aphrodisiac for women. Flowers, chocolate, dinner out, surprise gifts, written love letters, whispering sweet nothings.. It’s all a turn on and will definitely help rather than hinder your relationship.

There is nothing wrong with being romantic. There is a reason us ladies love chick flicks – pretty much we wish you were more like Ryan Gosling and less like Ray Romano.

Add a lil spice

Men respond to all things related to sex and food. So why not give them both? Cook up their fave dish and then slip on some new lingerie for some late night entertainment. Better yet, serve up some strawberries and cream on your naked bod and let him devour you.

Or take a trip out to your local Sex Shop and both make a purchase, each. For a bit more fun keep it a surprise from each other until you get home. Let the fun begin!

Change it up

Usually routine is what leads to boredom in a relationship, time to change it up before boredom turns into resentment. Go on a holiday, go on a day trip somewhere, do a random activity like go-carting. DO ANYTHING!

What are your tips?
